Description

If you're looking for a nice light activity, but also a place to be able to talk, perhaps pottery painting is just what you've been looking for.

Here's how it works:

Select a ceramic item such as plates, mugs, platters, and vases. Then consider your design options and let the painting begin. The pieces are left to be be glazed and fired and may be picked up two weeks from their completion date. [1]

The fact that the items can not be picked up for two weeks sounds like a negative but really isn't so bad. In case there isn't another date, what's the point of picking up the pottery anyway? However, if there is another date, you can start the date by picking up your artwork.

Tips

Usually pretty quiet.
Items can not be picked up for two weeks. (Call to see if they are ready sooner)
