Talk:Panorama Lounge
I had a negative experience at Panorama tonight- when I arrived, my date and I asked to be seated at one of the couches. The maitre d' mentioned this to a waitress, who glanced at a book and apologized that the couches (which are spread in multiple corners of the room) were reserved tonight, so we were sat at a table in the center of the room. No one showed up for those "reservations". I kind of felt like we were victims of the River Cafe phenomenon. http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/article.php?p=141929 I sort of dont blame Panorama- if Orthodox Jews show up and dont buy anything, then why should Panorama give them valuable seats where patrons may want to sit in 10 minutes. My suggestion to my brothers and sisters- if you want to enjoy the view at Panorama, buy stuff and leave normal tips. Otherwise, just find a hotel lounge somewhere where its more acceptable to not order anything- and sit around play a board game.
