FYI deleting a page required sysop privileges. Thanks for your help. --Tosfos 21:16, June 15, 2011 (EDT)

You've been granted upload access. Please remember to note on any image's page which license it is under. We accept CC or GFDL or images you took yourself. Thanks! --Tosfos 11:52, August 11, 2011 (EDT)

How about images that I manipulate with photoshop? Technically its not the picture that the photog took..? --Syjew 12:04, August 11, 2011 (EDT)
Depends on the terms of the license. Either way we need the info on the history. --Tosfos 16:33, August 11, 2011 (EDT)
Ok, the last one is CC so dont take that one down.Syjew 19:10, August 11, 2011 (EDT)

Welcome back! --Tosfos 15:50, December 12, 2011 (EST)

Thanks! Well, hopefully I will have some time to keep on contributing. As you might be able to tell, my location has changed

so I won't be up to date on new places in the US anytime soon. Syjew 16:00, December 12, 2011 (EST)

ampersands

Thank you for all the edits! In your honor, I will fix the ampersands issue. One of these days... --Tosfos 08:46, December 22, 2011 (EST)

Ok great! Maybe in honor the 900 mikomos you will grant me administrtor or beuracratic access? ----Syjew 10:20, December 22, 2011 (EST)
Hehe. Maybe... In the meantime, the ampersands have been fixed. --Tosfos 13:37, December 26, 2011 (EST)
Thanks...I was wondering if you're gonna print a new book this year? I never bought one but I can imagine most of the yeshiva guys would rather a book over finding internet access before every date, and writing everything down etc. Maybe you can get it subsidized by somebody to make it cheaper to print. ----Syjew 17:24, December 26, 2011 (EST)
Unfortunately, I'm booked solid for the foreseeable future. It's not a money issue but a time issue. --Tosfos 20:02, January 1, 2012 (EST)
That's okay I guess. Anyways it doesn't have to be a "2012" edition, it can be "mikomos 2.0" or something of the like, and you can finish it henever you have time. ----Syjew 06:51, January 3, 2012 (EST)

Congrats!

You have been added to the admin group as requested above. Please use it wisely. In particular I think you'll find this feature helpful. Enjoy! --Tosfos 14:47, February 21, 2012 (EST)

Thank you so much! I feel so privileged! SPAMMERS Beware! BRUHAHAHAHA. Syjew 15:58, February 21, 2012 (EST)
About the patrolled edits- I'm not so sure why it's useful when every edit by default is unpatrolled. If there was a reverse system where every edit is by default not flagged aside from the ones by spammers, that would get my attention. Syjew 16:13, February 21, 2012 (EST)
It's not really an anti-spam tool. It's really for quality control. You supervise legitimate edits and once you review you approve it. I do this every once in a while but I'm a few months behind. You can also set the Special:RecentChanges to hide patrolled edits. --Tosfos 20:18, February 21, 2012 (EST)
One more question- I noticed that you don't delete closed mikomos for a while, and I'm assuming to let people know that the makom is closed, until it's been a long time. Do you have a certain amount of time you wait before deleting a makom? If not, why not? Syjew 04:31, February 24, 2012 (EST)
It's not a science but I think around a year is a good amount of time. --Tosfos

new featured makom

Thanks for the new feature. It was high time. --Tosfos 19:29, February 25, 2012 (EST)

spam accounts

Thank you for the quick work on the spam accounts. I've adjusted our CAPTCHA. This one should hold up better. --Tosfos 09:29, April 4, 2012 (EDT)

Hey, thanks. I just looked at the new captcha. I like the new one much better. "How do you spell 'apppple' correctly?" LOL. --Syjew 11:31, April 4, 2012 (EDT)
